X is for X BONES

SKULL & CROSSBONES SCARF
Well, for "X" day what is better on "Pirate Knitting" than CROSSBONES.  I found these free patterns so you can get your pirate on and knit some great crossbone items.  The scarf above looks really great, although might be the easiest project around.

SKULL & CROSSBONES DISHCLOTH
Of course, I have to find some dishcloths and this one seems to be the easier of the two as it doesn't involve color changing, and it will make a great Halloween gift.

Of course if you look in the archives of this blog you will see many, many other crossbones patterns, this is of course, "Pirate Knitting".

However, you can never have too many hat patterns and this one is a great one for this kids.

  5. Very cool, I know some people that would just love these. It is one of my husband's friends. We went over and they had a big skull and crossbones in their living room window for a curtain. My little girl looked at that and said "Mommy, they have dead people in their front window!!" Indeed they did. LOL
