O is for OLYMPIC PATTERNS

OLYMPICS RINGS 2012 DISHCLOTH
Well if I hadn't been watching the Stanley Cup Hockey playoffs (or watching my husband watching them), I would have forgotten that this is indeed an Olympic year and the Summer Olympics would be on NBC from London in a few months.  Thus, I figured that there must be some Olympic patterns out there and the first one I found was the dishcloth which I am going to put onto my needles tonight.  Not only will it be a great dishcloth, hey, but a keepsake.

Olympic knits, however, tend to lean toward the Winter Olympics (who wants to knit a bathing suit) so I've found some FREE PATTERNS (remember to click on the titles) for hats and scarves also some wonderful ones from the Special Olympics.

Enjoy, now I've got to go cast on that Olympic dishcloth!!!

  1. Great choice for O, Pam. I can't wait to see that dishcloth when you're finished. You also reminded me that I printed out some crochet patterns for Special Olympics scarves but never did one--wait till next year!
