J is for JACK????

JACK SPARROW SOCKS

When you are doing an alphabetical challenge like the A-Z, every now and then a letter arises that you don't immediately have anything for.  In knitting when that happens I go to RAVELRY and this time I plugged in JACK PATTERNS and came up with some very interesting things.  Yes, the Jack Sparrow Socks are a definite pirate thing and I featured them last year.  The free pattern is still on line so please click on the TITLE for the pattern.

UNION JACK TEA COZY
I have never knitted an animal, but I'm sure that Jack Russell Terrier lovers will want to download the free pattern I found for this cutie.  If I have any readers in the UK, what is more English than a Union Jack tea cozy.

JACK RUSSELL TERRIER

Now for you Nightmare fans who are probably also coffee fans, my final JACK free pattern:

JACK SKELLINGTON COFFEE HOLDER

  1. Hi! I found you via twitter. I am doing the AtoZ Challenge as well. Great J post. I love love love the Jack Sparrow socks! I wish I could knit better, however, I am a crocheter and do pretty well with that. Glad I found you. Happy A to Z blogging! http://theworldofjulieb.blogspot.com/

  2. Great J post!! Loving that Union Jack tea cozy. Although I am proficient at crocheting, my knitting skills are pretty basic. Regardless I can appreciate some cool patterns when I see them.

  3. I've never gotten past doing the chain stitch in crotchet and I can knit a plain scarf but can't manage to get it off the needle!

  6. My sister found you through the A to Z Challenge and emailed me a link to your blog because she knew that I would love it. She was so right! I knit, but nowhere near your level...which is amazing. Love the coffee holder. :)
