E is for EASY KITCHEN ACCESSORIES

CHILI RED PEPPER DISH TOWEL

Nothing is better for summer knitting than easy items created out of cotton yarn.  Not only are these kitchen accessories easy, they make wonderful "Secret Santa" gifts, stocking stuffers or other even hospitality gifts to be given around the holidays.  I made the above dish towel in a light color, have washed it many times and it is still a very absorbent towel.  I will make another one this summer.

Below I have pictured some dish cloths that are also easy and quick and make wonderful gifts naturally with the  link to the FREE PATTERNS in the title.  If you are a really fast knitter you might be able to whip up the EASTER BASKET before Sunday.  Check these out:

SQUIDGIE DISHCLOTH

And finally, we have a really fun one that might be just the perfect gift for the NCIS TV show fan among your friends and family:
I LOVE NCIS DISHCLOTH

  3. I love the crocheted washcloths I made, but these are really beautiful. They look more complicated than the single-crochet ones I've done, though!

  5. these are wonderful. I wish I had the patience for knitting. I reccently attempted knitting in the round for a felted bag and just can't get the stitches straight from the beginning. All twisted. gave up.

  6. You blog always inspires me to attempt knitting, though it is safer for everyone if I stick to crochet for now.
