D is for DEMON

Sometimes in the A-Z Challenge you become stymied by a letter and this happened for me with D.  I didn't want to write about decreasing and so my mind quite logically went to "demon".  The picture above is created by a knitting artist and there is no pattern for it, but you can believe it is one of a kind.  The great website that this is from is called BRUTAL KNITTING and you should give it a look.

Of course I wanted to show some patterns and where else would you find patterns, albeit, not all free but on RAVELRY when I plugged "demon" into pattern search.  The pictures below and the links on the titles are what I came up with.  For some demons don't come free and only the potholders are a free pattern; the others are very cheap though, I linked to their RAVELRY pages.

PET DEMON

RED DEMON
PUNCTUATION DEMON

FIRE DEMON

I think "E" may be a problem too,  so expect the unexpected tomorrow!!!! LOVE THESE DEMONS! Hey, sign up for Ravelry, it's FREE!  (remember click on picture titles to go to patterns, enjoy)

  10. Fascinating! Never learned to knit, though I gave it the old college try. I do very well at crocheting, though. Interesting take on demons. Best regards, Ruby

  12. found your site on A-Z and was intrigued because my mom just knitted a pirate for my cousin--or maybe crocheted? Love the demons. Can't wait to see what you knit up next.
